Unmoved

It’s monotonous, gloomy and dark outside.
The birds are still chirping somewhere afar.
Raindrops gently gliding down the window.
Her silhouette stood still against the hearth.

The soundless flutter of the window curtains.
The embers scattering close to her satin hem.
The crackling fire dancing towards its death.
Shone on the lifeless tears caressing her face.
